James Gunn has announced that Guardians of the Galaxy will have a sequel, and that this movie will begin filming in February 2016. Gunn has also announced that he is 70 pages into the new Guardians of the Galaxy script. Just more proof that our favorite little raccoon will be coming back the big screen. Unlike the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the sequel will begin filming in Pinewood Atlanta Studios. This is the same location used to film Captain America: Civil War. Some other interesting info to note about this new movie is that Nebula will be making a return to the movie. Nebula was the crazy blue chick that was completely bald. She was working for Ronan, and has an interesting connection with Gamora. Finally, the movie is scheduled to be released in the US on May 7, 2017. So far this is just about everything that James Gunn has announced about the movie. Hopefully, more information will come out later in the future, but for now we know that the movie is currently being scripted, and that it will begin filming next year.
